Designed for flexibility, ECO-UV inks image beautifully and conform around the most complex corners and curves, allowing users to customise everything from gifts and novelties to industrial parts and product prototypes.

Create Textures and Embossing Effects with Gloss Ink.

ECO-UV ink options include White ink for greater brilliance on clear or dark-coloured materials and Gloss ink for gloss and matt finishes, as well as an on-board printable primer for a flawless finish on even more surfaces and shapes*. Multiple layers of Gloss ink can be applied to simulate embossing and 3D textures, and the included VersaWorks Dual RIP software comes with 72 ready-to-use texture patterns.

Profitable Printing with Primer Ink

The LEF2-300 features an on-board Primer ink option so you can quickly and conveniently image onto glass**, plastics** and other challenging surfaces. Users can easily and precisely prep an object for customisation – printing Primer ink directly from a file in VersaWorks Dual RIP before printing the full-colour graphic. This makes adding graphics to challenging materials much cleaner and more efficient.

Built to Meet High-Volume Demand

In order to maintain accurate high-quality printing, even during long production runs, the LEF2-300 Flatbed Printer incorporates precision parts that are not susceptible to changes in temperature or humidity. To meet the needs of high-volume production and manufacturing facilities, the LEF-300 also includes an input/output system for integrating machine status lights and other assembly line tools – enabling scalable production with multiple LEF-300s.

Automatic Height Adjustor

When printing on 3D items, the LEF2-300 features a height adjuster that automatically moves the printer table until it reaches the required height.. This automatic function also ensures quality print production by maintaining an optimum distance between the print head and the material surface.

Optional BOFA Air Filtration Unit

The BOFA air filtration system ensures proper ventilation, while also functioning as a stand and storage unit for fixtures and supplies. The LEF2-300 is also able to connect to other standard air filtration systems.

Mist Filter

The LEF2-300 features an ink mist absorption system that collects and removes airborne ink mist inside the printer, a fan installed around the print head, extracts ink mist into an absorbing filter to maintain a consistent printing operation.

Across a wide variety of applications and media, Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology delivers outstanding image quality in all print modes while virtually eliminating any signs of banding.

All new VersaWorks™ Dual RIP Included

The LEF2-300 includes new VersaWorks Dual RIP software, featuring a new core engine for faster previewing times and improved handling of PDF and EPS files, including files with drop-shadows and transparencies.

VersaWorks Dual minimises the need to return to design software as you can set-up special colour layers like White, Gloss and Primer directly in the RIP software.

You also get a host of advanced and ease-of-use features including a Predictive Ink Calculator, spot colour replacement with built-in PANTONE® libraries and a Roland Texture System Library with a wide range of ready-to-use Gloss finishes and other effects. In addition, you can rotate, set spacing and Maintain Clipped Position within the RIP to give you more control when printing graphics and applying Gloss Ink effects.

With VersaWorks Dual you can choke white or primer ink placement, to enable perfect registration of colour graphics on top. You can also change the intensity of the UV-LED lamps. This can be used for several custom applications, including part-curing, to apply a secondary process such as adding glitter.

Ink Efficiency and Consistency

The LEF2-300 has an Automated Ink Circulation System that significantly lower running costs while maintaining sharp image quality and brilliant colors, even on long print runs. Controlled ink circulation ensures that ink pigments can’t settle in the ink lines, resulting in smooth ink consistency and density.

Roland OnSupport for Remotely Managing Your Printer

The LEF2-300 features Roland OnSupport, an online customer support system that allows users to remotely track the printer status and send e-mails to users notifying them when a job is start, completed or when ink is running low. Users can download firmware updates and important product information at an exclusive website in just one click.
